rPlus Solar team members have extensive experience in building and connecting utility-scale solar power plants on-time and on-budget. We have projects in various stages of development around the country.
A Focus on Untapped Regions
rPlus leaders have been publicly recognized for pioneering clean energy development in regions with untapped solar potential.
Take Utah—a state with enough solar potential to power the entire United States. rPlus Energies team members have been publicly recognized for opening the Utah’s market for utility-scale solar development.
Leading the development of the Utah Red Hills Renewable Park, the team commissioned Utah’s first utility-scale solar plant in 2015, more than doubling the state’s solar footprint.
The team constructed the 104 MW (dc) photovoltaic solar plant in less than a year, with financing from Google and Prudential Capital Group. The power is currently feeding into the grid under a twenty-year PPA with PacifiCorp’s Rocky Mountain Power.
The project has been credited with leading the way to enable nearly a gigawatt of renewable energy projects in Utah.
